| WHY: |
The growing interconnectedness and speed of 21st century society is placing increasing pressure on government bodies to improve strategy development, policy design and decision making in and across complex, dynamic domains.
The effective use of ICT tools for governance and policy modeling is expected to alleviate this pressure by improving the evidence base for supporting better policy-making.
This workshop aims to bring together researchers from both sides of the Atlantic to collect and share knowledge on modeling frameworks and best practices in the development of more advanced models for ICT-enabled policy formulation and evaluation.
Results from the workshop will contribute to the CROSSOVER Roadmap on Policy Modeling 2.0: www.crossover-project.eu/ResearchRoadmap.aspx |
