On the 29th of January 2013 the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco organised the 2nd eGovernment Forum providing a platform for over 500 experts, government officials and international representatives to come together and discuss achievements and developments in eGovernment.
The forum, which took place in Rabat, was opened by Mr Abdelilah Benkirane, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, and included speakers from representatives of UN agencies and countries such as Canada, Denmark, Norway, Saudi Arabia, and Senegal.
Dr. Gianluca Misuraca, Senior Scientist at the European Commission JRC-IPTS, presented the results from IPTS’s participation in the Crossover project. His presentation, entitled “Envisioning Open Governance: Towards Policy Making 2.0”, was greatly received and generated much discussion.
