As a final deliverable to the Crossover project, four case studies have been selected and will be integrated into the roadmap. These case studies are representative of policy making 2.0 and focus on the real needs of users and policy makers. The case studies were chosen in order to highlight the concrete problems addressed by research and the impact of ICT solutions for Governance and Policy-Modelling on governance processes and policy-making mechanisms.
Over 300 case studies were mapped and identified from all over the world and then 25 of these were shortlisted. The final four case studies chosen for in-depth investigation were picked in order to represent a wide spectrum of policy making steps, domains, tools and technologies.
By analysing these case studies, Crossover hope to enhance and deepen the research challenges within policy making 2.0 and move towards a more open, collaborative and evidence-based approach.
